Unit  1 ：Learning to learn

Lesson 1 ： A song might help you improve your memory

  教学目标 ：

1．知识目标:

 掌握本课的大纲词 ，认读并理解新课表词汇，掌握本课功能句         以及情态动词may 和might 的用法。

2．能力目标:

        ① 通过阅读1.3 ，使学生能够掌握获得主旨大意的阅读技能，能够理解和判断文段的细节信息。

②通过阅读1.3基本能回答1.4 中的问题

③通过本科学习学生应学会用英语简单描述个人学习英语的困难，方法及途径并初步学会用英语给别人提出学习建议的表达方式。

3．文化意识:

        初步了解当代学习英语的方法，学习风格及策略 并学会用英语简单描述个人学习英语的方法和途径。

教学内容：

1.      大纲词汇：memorize  junior  go over  material  go to sleep

 paragraph         support  

新课表词汇 ：key  advice  review  recite  simple  

其他词汇：easily  learner  colored  highlight   

2．功能句：I find I forgot a lot of things after my vacation.

           Is it easy for you to remember new word in English?

           It might be easier to remember the key points.

           You might want to go over the material two days after you learn it.

           If you think about the information before you go to sleep, you might be able to remember it better.

3．语法 ：情态动词may 和might 的用法.

教学重点、难点 ：词汇、功能句和情态动词may 和 might的用法。

教学用具 ： 录音机， 投影， 多媒体

课时安排 ： 2 课时

教学步骤：           第一课时 

Steps  :  Lead in  : ( pre—reading  )

1.      用多媒体放一首学生最喜爱的英文歌引入教学 .
